Disagree about his pace. He's sharp

I think he has a lovely action and has a lot in the tank. When I faced him he was really nippy

Yes, the action looks easy.

Is he bowling within himself here? Definitely looked 5 kph slower than Ngarava today, at least to my uneducated eye ;)

I thought the same to be honest, that he's bowling within himself. When he bends his back he's about 83mph, literally. Was clicked at that when he was at University.
Looks more mid 70's today. More longevity than Tiripano though

No burl? Are you kidding?
Burl last 6T20Is matches only 122 runs, 2 wickets. He will be in Squad, but not in Playing XI as his batting has not come good. If Shumba or Jongwe fails Burl come in, Pakistan are good players against Spin, idea should be to offer them seam friendly green pitch, to have some good results in T20Is.
I think 122 runs from 6 T20Is is not that bad specially when he comes in to bat at number 7 plus he can bowl few economical overs and he is easily the best fielder Zimbabwe have right now, took some very exceptional catches. I think you do not follow Zimbabwe cricket that much. I would not blood 5 to 6 rookies in the playing eleven specially against top team like Pakistan, you can do that against lesser known teams but not against Pakistan, it is like throwing these young lads in the deep water to sink
Needs to play Pakistan in seam friendly green pitches to make Blessing & Nayuchi look lethal and offer tough competition. We have seen what both can do in pitch assisting seamers in 1st test against Afghanistan, so to trouble Pakistan batters, Zim needs to put spin out of the equation. Qadir, Nawaz & Mehmood are quality spinners if they find the pitch flat or slow turner they can crush Zim batting line up and Pak batters can smash Zim spinners with ease whereas Zim batters are much more accustomed to seam & swing and can play sensibly then Pak batters, hence Zim had to find space for Jongwe & Mashinge.

Look at Pak batting performances in seam friendly conditions, only Babar & Rizwan were able to offer resistance rest all were worst then average. This Zimbabwe has the material to defend even 140 in seam friendly condition against Pakistan.

Really impressive from Chivanga at the death and in the super over. We know he was scouted by ZC and they have an eye on him for the national team ever since he was playing in SA. I still think he is some way off, but the potential is there.

Raj, your point about preparing green seaming pitches is an interesting one. Zim might have a few decent pace bowlers at the moment, but remember Pakistan's pace attack is lethal. Do we really want to see Chibhabha, Masvaure and co opening up against Pak's pace attack on a green wicket?

I reckon the pitches will be turners in this series again.

Play it safe and keep the wickets slow and flat. I'd rather see us draw the series instead of losing it.
Preparing seam friendly conditions sounds lovely, until you come up against the sheer pace Pakistan have in their attack. You pray for rain you deal with the mud

Some of us might have been too quick to leave Ervine out of our T20 teams. Thats an amazing innings right there.
