I have a feeling that we will have a very strong squad selection for BD series. Looks like the big 4 and the young 4 will all make it. We also have Chatara, Jongwe, Chisoro on the mix. If BT can keep in the shorter formats, we might have a balanced squad and should be looking for a series win. I’m fine with Chakava and Musakanda’s selections, but worried about Chibahbha and Mutumbami joining back. We will win the test match if we can have all our 4 senior players plus fit Chatara.

Having the two youngsters open is a bad idea, I think they need tp be paired with experience. Taylor has to open im shorter format to xapitalize on powerplays. Theres no place for a specialist spinner in the Chevrons in any format. The four "part-time" spinners (Willo, Raza, Wesley and Burl) we have are way better than the specialists. Jongwe is a definitely a MUST for all short formats

Yes ZC is hiding update on Burl. He has been punished by getting dropped from Unofficial A series against South Africa A and is being spread in media as finger injury.

ZC has the history of behaving like autocratic, was once forcefully asked Streak to praise black players

I agree Taylor should open in t-20, but in the last series Wesley and Marumani did pretty well. In ODIs Taylor might not open and Selectors have always tested with Chibabaha, Kamu etc. With new guys-Wesley, Muskanda etc at the top, the team dynamics look a lot different as they score runs at a good pace. We always seem to win more when we choose guys on merit. It’s always that 1-2 off batting selections that messes up the balance and we lose. For e.g we replace Ervine with Chari
