Yeah, a deadbat. No shots. No footwork that would support any shots.

How does a guy in his late twenties averaging 22 in a poor Zim domestic cricket setup, get a test cap?? Are there any standards at all?CholeZimbo wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 12:14 pmNot to bring doom but Kaitano not looking confident. Walking wicket.
We are fucked.
Its one thing to debate how guys who dominate the do,estic scene like maruma cant step up.
But we are now at the stage we are hopng guys who fail domestically step up?
poor kids probably nervous as hell.
If he was in sydney he would be a third grader, who doesnt get paid but only get fees discounted or something.

I know a thing or two about batting technique and Kaitano is decent with his defense, there is always some kind of butterflies in your stomach when you make your debut at the highest. You tend to commit mistakes that you do not usually commit. He has so far dealt with Shakib comfortably.

Good hour. More of the same concentration. DO NOT give it away loosely.

He's still there after 34 balls. He's managed two glances and a nick. It would be great if he stays in. But a defence that is not a platform from which to attack will only hold off the inevitable.lobsang wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 1:01 pmI know a thing or two about batting technique and Kaitano is decent with his defense, there is always some kind of butterflies in your stomach when you make your debut at the highest. Haven't bought the subscription to watch the game so I'm going off the scoreboard, Milton is getting comfy which is great. Kaitano is shaky af from what I read, but hey, he's still here and hopefully he can just grind through the difficult phase and get going.
