I'm surprised Chivanga is there too. He needs to be in the senior squad even if he isn't playing.

Yea that's who I was referring to. I've got no idea about Matt Welch or the other names in the squad though. I've just been told that Mattew Welch could be a gun
Saul is a wicketkeeper bat. Ewing was talking him up recently as the potential top star performer in the next U19 WC.

I am confused. Is Bawa there or not?

Also think Chivanga being there is good. How much is he going to play in Ireland? Not a lot.

Count me as the lone voice in the choir that isn't too upset that Chamu and Richmond are there. They would get drilled otherwise and what good will that do them?

Bennett, Welch and Saul is really brave. Excellent prep for them for the upcoming U19 WC next year.

I don't mind Chamu & Chari being in a squad like this. It's good to have a few older heads around. Surprised Chivanga is in this squad. Thought we'd see him in Ireland.
Bennett and Saul both products of Peterhouse and look very good. Zimbabwe will do a good job keeping all 3 of these boys in Welch, Bennett and Saul and putting them in this squad is also great exposure and development for them. This squad has a few veterans for them to learn from. Overall I like the squad, good balance between young and experienced

Looks like Connolly and Wolhuter (Falcon) and Bawa (St George's) all currently playing club cricket in Gloucestershire.

Don't know if they've moved schools. :/
