To lighten this thread up a bit. Zimbabwe aren't doing too bad currently and this Bennett kid really looks like he could be it in the future, playing good for a 18 year old

Namibia are ranked 18th in the ODI table. Behind the UAE, Nepal, and Scotland. They are ranked 19th in T20s. That is so low down the rankings that the U-19 girls team from any Test nation ought to be reasonably competitive with the Namibian first XI.

This statement is, quite frankly, an absolute joke beyond comprehension. On a par with anything Yvmnaidu has ever said. I have a lot of respect for you as a poster normally but this is showing an insane lack of knowledge of world cricket. So many posters on here are living in the 1990's or something.

Namibia are qualifying for the Super 12s in the World Cup in a few months and I suspect they'll get a victory or two in that stage even. I'll refer back to this quote then.

No team should ever lose a T20 match to another team by 100+ runs. Thats the equivalent of losing an ODI by 300 runs, which would be a world record or very close to it. This was a team that had Test/ODI players in it.

Even if Namibia won the WC this year, it wouldn't make this a decent or un-shocking result.

dont get why guys like chibabha etc are taken seriously as odi or test players when they got in because of questionable manners
