It's a shame we don't have another 2 or 3 experienced, international-class players who have carried the team for the last 15 years sitting on the bench.
Oh wait.........

Ervine batting well until the pressure got to him.
2-1 to Ireland unless burl plays a blinder

I like the idea of blooding youngsters in T20Is and reserving the experienced guys for the other formats. We're not in the world cup anyway so what's the concern?

Agree to pick the young guys over K-long, Musakanda, Maruma and all the other rubbish guys who've had their chances.
But picking them over BT, Williams and even Raza? That's where I draw the line. We need to have a mix of young and old, not just all young. Pick 2 of the 'New Four' per match and that seems fair. Otherwise we will destroy their confidence and they will become used to losing.

Zimbabwe's 2019 tour of Europe was not good
ODIs v Netherlands lost 2-0
T20s v Netherlands drew 1-1
ODIs v Ireland lost 3-0
T20s v Ireland drew 1-1
So let's see, I'm thinking even from here on, Zimbabwe can end up having a better tour this time.

Imagine Namibia getting as many opportunities as Zimbabwe, they would become a much better team even though I think if cricket becomes a mainstream sport there, it would go down Zim route as well bc the majority is black but there are only two black players in the whole squad. Cricket is pretty much a white sport in African countries

Rajput is an idiot. Sean Williams saved ZC last week by making sure there is no way they give him a chance.
You don't teach players anything by making them lose 90% of the games. Get them in a winning environment and give their confidence a boost. You don't need to blood them in all at the same time. Marumani has failed like 10 times in a row now.. ridiculous
