Raza looks unbelievably downbeat and miserable, both when he was batting earlier and now in the field/bowling too. Don't blame him really after the last couple of weeks.
Noticed that too. Unusually quiet in the field.
He's bowled extremely well today but you wouldn't know it looking at his face!!!

Meanwhile we might just actually pull off a win again here somehow.

Good win. Another great defence of a low total. Now imagine if we could actually bat!

Impressed by Regis' captaincy today.

That pitch was terrible for batting. Batter friendly pitch we can beat them in the odi series. Raza and Chatara bowled very well today. It's now a toss up between Ngarava and Chats for me. But Ngarava on the back of the t20 series may play the first game and we will see how he goes.

Also, is there a cricket ground in Ireland that at least resembles a real cricket ground? These farm side grounds are a bore.

PS: these guys have a post match presentation for a practice game

Hasn't the CPL started? I thought he had been retained.. I don't know what's going on but imagine not getting a NOC to play in the CPL because of this tour then you are sitting on the bench for 3/4 of the tour. I would be deeply frustrated if that was the case. He would have missed out on some good money. He even got a huge winning bonus last year because his team won . I hope that's not the case here.

These low scoring games always present an opportunity for the bowling unit to learn. I was impressed that Regis gave Don that final over. Nowhere to hide. It's a warmup game. Everybody has to be given a pressure situation if possible. Chatara also bowled really well. Wednesday's final 11 will be interesting

Looked an awful pitch yes, but tempered I think by what looked like (may just be the camera angle?) very very short boundaries. Looked like a school cricket sized ground!

Yep. Being denied the chance to play some glamorous T20's and sit on the beach in St Lucia for a month, in order to go on some tour to Ireland, playing on farms in a toxic team environment with a coach everyone hates - and then being left out of all 5 T20s!!!! Don't blame him if he is seething.

Zimbabwe pull off another win which is good to see. Good bowling by Raza, with Burl injured I think Sikki will make the playing XI.

Madhevere
Chakabva
Ervine
Taylor
Williams
Myers
Raza
Jongwe
Wellington
Ngarava
Blessing

Pretty has to be this with Burl injured.

It must be very toxic in that camp at the moment but these 2 wins before the odi series were really crucial for team building. On paper we are very strong. Good performances with the bat from our seniors will take us through. The bowling is good enough for most of the Irish batsmen. Our fielding needs to improve as well because these Irish guys are very good in the field. I like us batting first and defending scores as we have seen in the games we have won so far.

I am happy with the main 4 bowlers there and then Wes, Willo and Raza should ensure non stop good bowling. Ervine, Taylor, Willow are all capable of big scores. This is our very best 11 in a very long time. I hope they stick around as a unit and play many ODIs together.

Shumba for me is in better form than Myers. He has gotten a few starts now. Only change I would make.
