If we cannot chase this down with our best players against Ireland, then we are not good enough

Yeah I get your general point that we should be beating Ireland and I agree. But the bowlers have let us down here. Conceded at least 40 runs more than we should have. Chasing 283 on this pitch would be difficult for any batting line-up tbh. Ireland massive favourites from here and I won't be too mad if our batters can't do this.

Average score batting first at Stormont in the past decade is 219. Conceded way too many today.

Gave away about 40 runs there, but we cannot fear this level of bowling. Winnable.

All 4 grounds we've played on Ireland this past two weeks have spun. Pitch was turning today. And yet we only bowled 24 overs of spin? Poor from Ervine.

Let's wait and see. No comment for now. Too early to predict anything. Give us a full 20 overs then we can see the trajectory of the game. A high score doesn't necessarily translate to a win. It's all about the mentality when you chase. We posted 2 high scores against Bangladesh and still lost

Is anyone here delusional enough to think Zim can qualify for the world cup as a top 8 nation? We will do well to finish 10th/11th
... we will be part of the qualifiers

Yep, But Bangladesh chased our big scores, a better team should out do the other. It is also still the same pitch. Also, the bowlers were not great, but some of the boundaries they scored were of good bowls also. Taylor and Ervine are capable of big scores. Williams and Raza can accelerate, Regis is due another quick good innings up front.
