If we cannot chase this down with our best players against Ireland, then we are not good enough
Is anyone here delusional enough to think Zim can qualify for the world cup as a top 8 nation? We will do well to finish 10th/11th
... we will be part of the qualifiers
I think this is more to do with finishing last and us justifying our funding. We get more money than Ireland currently. We have to prove that we are at least not worse than them

I think they rolled out a new pitch for this game, I wouldn’t be too concerned about the averages.

But with a strong middle order like we have we should be able to chase this, our bowlers we unlucky in the first 15 overs.

Overall I am expecting the a measured response from our batting line up, responsible batting from Our senior batters should get us home.

I'd open with Shumba not BT, kid can hold an end and tire the bowlers, then BT can come in to accelerate.

Forecasts I'm looking at still show lots of rain on the way later. So DLS will be a factor. Reggie & BT gonna have to start quickly to keep above the rate.

Definitely. Obviously we aren't qualifying in the top 8 but it will feel much better finishing maybe 10th rather than 13th. Got to finish above at least Ireland & Netherlands really.

Just saw the Ireland scorecard. How did we end up not bowling 10 overs of good spin possible from Wellington, Williams and Raza? Surely, wild have resulted in about 25-30 runs less? Ireland have shown that they are worse against spin...

Updates on cricinfo saying match delayed by rain, I wonder what the revised target will be if we loose 15 overs to rain?
