I observed some sudden vitriol about Chitare yesterday on a group, that's why I brought him up on this thread. I thought it was just random hate but maybe this explains it.
I think the mood around selection for this tour had been relatively good until now, so clearly something has happened and people have got wind of why Mwale has found himself out there.

3 Irish players test positive for this innocuous flu variant.

Well hopefully Mwale is/was part of this rearguard actionsecretzimbo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 5:27 pmI observed some sudden vitriol about Chitare yesterday on a group, that's why I brought him up on this thread. I thought it was just random hate but maybe this explains it.

Zimbabwe have rallied to 206 all out.
Quite impressive rearguard from lower order considering where they were in match.
Pity no highlights or scorecards

That's a very impressive effort from 67-7. Well done boys! Hopefully we get a scorecard at some point

I've been a bit of a train spotter and looked at mwale's stats on CRICHQ site.
It's nothing special.
Wonder why he got the nod.

I see there's a Samuel Ruwisi who is non traveling reserve for the SA squad.
That's a Shona name I'm sure? Rings a bell, I'm sure there was a Ruwisi in the mix here at some point.
