If Zimbabwe Under 19 fails to qualify for Super League this time, it will be an upset.

Mitchell is a very promising player, too good to be coming in at 9.

Interesting to mote that all 5 of Tendekai Mataranyika wickets were clean bowled.

So do the top 11 get qualification for 2024 again? That should be the aim really.

Easy to get excited and ahead of ourselves but worth remembering we are only playing Ireland, who are rubbish. The Bangladesh warm-up will be the real indicator.

I still think finishing 10th/11th will be a good result again when you consider everything.

Nice to see some pace finally, courtesy of Zvinoera - looks decent. Wouldn’t mess with him, or Mataranyika! Hard to tell from these streams if they are fat or fit.

I’m amazed how much these pitches seem to be turning. But they are random village club grounds. Hopefully the tournament pitches are bit more manicured and balanced.

Lol stop this trolling, it’s not even a good effort.
So you think the worst prepared Zim side in history are going to outperform the past 8 consecutive U19 batches? And if they fail, it’s an ‘upset’? Lol your cricketing knowledge is similar to the warthog that lives near my borehole.

We’ll be doing well to finish 10th. If we get into the super league (it’s possible!) it will be an absolute miracle and something definitely worth celebrating and shouting about. It will be a huge achievement.

I think you probably need to be ahead of them in the all you can eat buffet queue.

Waiting for you idiot to comment. Now pretty sure this Zim under 19 will do well as things which you comment here turns opposite

If you have too much knowledge for cricket, go & search the recent performances of the teams in the group along with Zim

I believe Declan Rugg another 'non-travelling' reserve from the UK has ended up travelling and is with the squad in Barbados after all.

I think it’s all for the best, with vivid running rampant, you need a bigger team to make up for inevitable infections. As far as these UK and SA based guys, it’s all good and well that they are presumably training in excellent facilities etc, but what is the basis of thier selection? Do you perhaps know if ZC has a scouting network abroad that keeps tabs on schoolboy cricketers? I get the locals who are easier to scout but the UK players?
