Re: Northerns Vs Southerns (Sri Lanka Pre-Camp)
Rumours abound that 'at least 1 player' were unable to join the camp last Saturday due to either testing positive or being a close contact of a positive family member.
We haven't seen Masuku, Mayavo, Nyauchi, Musakanda, Williams (Northerns) or Campbell, Mavuta, Mumba, Mutombodzi, Mashinge (Southerns) yet. So could be any of them. Let's see who plays tomorrow.
There's only really Williams amongst those ten who is in serious contention for a place in the squad though. They are due to fly out on the 10th so if anyone is positive now, they probably wouldn't be allowed to travel unfortunately.
Pray it's not Willo.

Looks like Williams is playing today.
Regis again opening up and is currently on 33 not out, I think we can assume that he will be opening in Sri Lanka.

What a joke, so he will meet the team in Sri Lanka haha. If we now have a remote coach then surely we can get someone else better to coach via zoom

Poor decision from the umpire to give Maruma out, that was clearly going above the wicket.

Exactly. If moving to and having to live in Zimbabwe is no longer a requirement, we could probably get any coach in the world.CholeZimbo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 9:12 amWhat a joke, so he will meet the team in Sri Lanka haha. At least it has forced ZC make more of an effort with streaming. I guess it's for the coaches benefit
