Some of our batting struggles can be traced back to those 3 World Cups if we are honest with ourselves. It's not a surprise that that 2004 and and 2006 generation is when some of our best batsmen played. The results speak for themselves.

Some of the issues are selection and parents paying to get their way. It's well known, as are the easy to get to "selectors" who remain in the system rubbing their hands in glee to see what offers materialise the next time around. The goat must graze where it's tethered
