Loving Brad Evans, could take the bowling position of the spinner we have been failing to find in the longer format, and he can bat too.

7. Chakabva (wk)
8. Evans
9. Muzarabani
10. Nyauchi
11. Ngarava
Chakabva won't bat that low again I don't think. Evans is a potential future number 6. Still needs to improve a fair bit with both disciplines, but it would be great to have a genuine seam all rounder at 6.
In tests even? you would have him at 5?

I'd have Regis as high as possible, mostly because we literally don't have anyone else in Tests now BT has gone and Williams has (reportedly) given up on red-ball cricket too. We are probably only playing 1 Test this entire year though so I wouldn't worry too much!

He'll probably change his mind again next week, but yeah apparently he's only focusing on white ball now

Marumani has finally decided to not try hit every ball out the park.

I think Masuku picked up his 100th FC wicket today. 29th game. I wonder who is the fastest Zimbabwean to 100 FC wickets

Finally caught up and watched the whole game live.

That’s was the best batting performance I have ever seen from Marumani. Didn’t play an attacking shot until his 58th delivery.

The batsmen made it look like a road when the ball was turning miles and the bowlers actually bowled really well.

Kaia was unlucky not to get a ton, great tactics from Evans & co having the keeper up.

On final thing I have taken from today is that I can’t stand chivanga and don’t want him near the National team. He constantly moans at the pitch and he threw the ball at Marumani and didn’t even apologise despite really hurting him. His bowling isn’t great and I think he is only considered because of his pace. I would much rather Nyauchi and even some of the other pace bowling options than Chivanga.

I may be a little biased though because I can’t stand him as a person.

Thanks for the insight. Got to admit I only watched the first half hour today.

I never thought Marumani was even capable of an innings like this. He has been super explosive and attacking even going back to Under-13's. Nice to see him play like this for a change. He's had an absolutely horrendous season and I wouldn't have been surprised if Rocks had actually dropped him for this game. He's a nice kid, I'm very pleased for him and I really hope he can get to 100 tomorrow morning.

You are right on Chivanga. I noted this on last weeks Logan Cup thread too. When he bowls a bad ball he just goes mad. He seems to moan, complain, argue and sledge more than anyone else in the country. Whilst I think his bowling especially in this format is good and threatening, I think he would struggle under any kind of international pressure.
