Gubbins has played 93 FC games and he is 28. I'm trying to remember what our record was for most Logan Cup matches in that previous thread.

I've watched a fair bit of Gubbins over the years, he's a class player, in different circumstances- coming good at key moments, he'd have been a good international.

Mutizwa played 92 LC games & is the record holder from Dabengwa who played 91 games.

Also, Mufudza's 56 over stint made me think who has bowled most overs in an LC innings. A quick check shows Ray Price bowling 60 overs in 03/04 against Matebeleland. This isn't a conclusive search but this could be the record.

Marumani faced around 150 deliveries against mufudza he hit about 10 runs if that.

I’m so happy with Marumani’s ton he really deserved it. A proper first class batting performance. Gutted I couldn’t see his celebration on the stream.

Mufudza was brilliant with the ball. A real impressive grind. Very accurate considering how much he was turning it.

Mutsamba really swings it, although at gentle pace. A bit like Keegen Meth used to.

Well if you don't want him in the National side yet need him in the franchise side then bat him at 8

I see Gubbins fell short of a double, you don't get many shots at 200 in your career.

During Zimbabwe's last tour SL, the batters were comfortable in facing the speedsters like Dushmantha Chameera and Nuwan Pradeep. When it comes to slow and spin bowlers, Zimbabwe struggled big time. I wonder whether or not bringing in or allowing foreign batters in the domestic would do that much of betterment to the players. I would love to see some quality spinners ( the spin bowling quality in Zimbabwe is extremely poor so that is why they struggle against quality spinners) , or fast bowlers playing in the Logan cup, the bowlers can learn a lot from them and the batters will get used to facing quality bowlers which could only improve their batting.
