During Zimbabwe's last tour SL, the batters were comfortable in facing the speedsters like Dushmantha Chameera and Nuwan Pradeep. When it comes to slow and spin bowlers, Zimbabwe struggled big time. I wonder whether or not bringing in or allowing foreign batters in the domestic would do that much of betterment to the players. I would love to see some quality spinners ( the spin bowling quality in Zimbabwe is extremely poor so that is why they struggle against quality spinners) , or fast bowlers playing in the Logan cup, the bowlers can learn a lot from them and the batters will get used to facing quality bowlers which could only improve their batting.
I agree in theory. But, we are a bit restricted at this time of year to England.....

Counties are never going to send their quicks because of fitness.
And there aren't too many high quality spinners around in England currently.

Makoni batting with Gubbins

Takodza batting with Fraine.

Some real benefits of our young batters learning from these guys in terms of the work ethic required to cut it at a higher level.

We need to keep up this thing with St Charles College! Wes, Madande, Taruvinga. I think there's another two younger Zim boys there as well now.

It would be nice to have someone on the horizon as a Regis replacement.

Evans batting at 8 is such a joke
Isn’t that because they put “night watchman” Chivanga @3-4? No 6-7 for a bowling all rounder isn’t bad

True, didn’t spot that!
7 is still a joke though.

He’s a future number 6 for the national team, should be batting there for Eagles or even at 5 tbh.

Two interesting final days ahead. We don't get this often.

Gubbins, Compton and Fraine and all added some quality to this set of Logan Cup fixtures. I am a big believer that we need to attract as many overseas guys as possible. Really improves the standards and watching senior pros prepare properly will give some of our lads a kick up the backside.

Eagles collapsing again. Massive victory for Rocks on the cards.
