Ya you'd think it's done and dusted. This left arm seamer is awesome as well They ideally needed Wilee Coyote to bat long.

India v England then the finals. I haven't seen England do that well in age group cricket earlier, they seemed to have focussed a lot on white ball format after that 2015 WC debacle. It has come at the expense of their test team though.

As for Zimbabwe, doesn't really matter that they finished 12th, there are some good youngsters out there who will unquestionably do well if they stick around. What is important for Zimbabwe is to retain these players some how and build the future around them.

For sure it's the two best teams in the final. India look to have the stronger side, but as we know anything can happen in a game of cricket. What has really amazed me is how the better batsmen have been completely unphased by pace. I guess that's the benefit of the dog stick. For England to be in with a shout Bethel needs to fire.
I was listening to the commentator talking about their age group tournaments and their structures, the reality is they should be unbeatable.

Falao and Dube were pretty good. These last couple of games I've watched showed they just don't have the control of line and length that they should have. Obviously not easy to achieve that, but that's their goal. Zvinoera also looks handy, but needs to get into better shape.
Our spinners were also good, same story though, they just lack a bit of control. Looking back I'd have to say Schonken is possibly the pick of them. Leggies have come back into fashion as well.
Our top three batters were good as well. A disappointing last game, we should have beaten those guys

Yeah BD weren't even favorites in 2020. I myself knew we were the 2nd best side in the world, but BD usually always chokes in the knockouts and I was like I'll be satisfied if they can make the semis and then compete there. The Final was a bit of a surprise, but winning it was a matter of everything falling into place which is slightly rare.

This 2022 team was nowhere near that level.
Bangladesh needs drastic improvement in preparing quality pitches. Present BPL & the series took place earlier has been pretty low scoring. Spin friendly and slow tracks can't improve their game, they need to prepare quality tracks to learn the art of scoring big totals and the tracks where pacers gets seam and swing

125-130 kph bowlers get huge success in Bangladesh tracks as cutters and slowers grips in those tracks and the same bowlers goes for plenty when they play away from home

It does matter. It means we haven’t qualified for the next edition. This doesn’t seem to have sunk in yet.

I liked the look of Folau too but i fear he might end up a rebirth of Tiripano.
Acurrate but toiler, pretty basic low effectiveness as an adult. Didnt see the others
