Speaking of shit coaches, any word on Rajputs future?? What are his whereabouts?. In Australia, Langer’s job is apparently up in the air despite winning the T20 World Cup and Ashes in less than 6 months ago. Yet in Zim, that useless, absentee coach is enjoying unparalleled job security. What the f$$k is wrong with us!!!!
Flew back to India after the last SL game.

Since then, has tweeted numerous times about the Indian U19 team (and even the Afghanistan U19 team) congratulating them - of course absolutely nothing about our own U19 Chevrons. He seems to mostly just spend his time wishing happy birthday to various Indian cricketers.

This guy is getting $8k a month for this
Well it's either fierce patriotism or he's trying to ingratiate himself with the BCCI.
If you're a national coach you're almost obliged to make some kind of comment about cricket in the country that's paying your bills.

Many congratulations to @mandhana_smriti on becoming the @ICC women’s cricketer of the year. You really deserve this. You are a true inspiration to many budding cricketers #ICCAwards #SmritiMandhana
No mention of our own Loryn Phiri being selected in the ICC Women's T20I Team of the Year.
Wishing Happy Birthday to Mr. Dependable and the wall of the modern day Test cricket, @cheteshwar1 The man of resilience & Determination! #pujara #CheteshwarPujara
Never any best wishes sent to any of our players  He doesn't even reply to messages from Zim players for weeks apparently
Congratulations to the afghanistan u19 team for a fantastic win against Sri Lanka.#Afghanistancricketboard
He's even more interested in Afghanistan than he is in Zimbabwe
So glad to hear that the @BCCI has decided to conduct the Ranji Trophy this season in two phases. Really it's a big news for first class cricketers. Well done BCCI #RanjiTrophy
Never a single comment on the Logan Cup.
Well done boys! Proud of you all. What a Comprehensive win for our team in the @ICC Under-19 world cup quarter-final against defending champions Bangladesh.#INDvBAN #Under19WorldCup2022
Never notices when our boys win.
We have a golden opportunity to jump on Langer after his controversial exit.
Hes an authoritarian a bit and I think the young mild mannered black guys respond better with a rod up them, and he brings a winning culture.

no doubt itll end in tears eventually but he might bring us to a world cup in the meantime.

Do you think England might be interested in him? Would be controversial, and interesting, for him to go straight from the Aussies to the English. If England could get over their colonial hangover then they would consider Shastri as well, after his Test record in Australia/India/England.

For Zim, a big name would be fantastic obviously, but I still think our simplest/easiest/realistic option is the numerous coaches in SA. There must be loads of ambitious, successful, provincial coaches or high performance or pathway coaches in SA who have good long track records and want to make the next step up to international cricket. They'd be cheap, they'd be able to fly back and forth very easily, they understand the conditions and to an extent the culture and mentality.

ZC is truly an incompetent organization, the worst part is that they don't even know what they want and the team is just headed nowhere.

We don't know when Zimbabwe play again, every other day a series gets cancelled or postponed.

No clarity on FTP or when some of the WSL games are to be scheduled. Even Netherlands have a better fixture list and clarity atm. Ireland are doing a far better job. This is plain disgusting from ZC.

No clarity on what they want from Rajput, he hasn't given the results for sure but he hangs in there, it's quite bizzare really. Can't understand if he has been given any targets or it's just a free ride.

No plan for talent retention. Like Myers is gone and there was no attempt to keep him. PJ is gone, couldn't they have worked out something with him? When Heath was in charge he got BT, Jarvis, Cremer and Mire back, he was trying hard to get more good players stick around with ZC but nothing of the sort now.

ZC is total shambles. I don't know what these guys want. Do they just want to kill Zimbabwe cricket? It's hard to comprehend. There is zero planning. Zero certainty. Zero hope.
I saw Zimbabwe cricket release an app. What does everyone think about that lol.

Fat chance ZC will hire anyone like that. Having a proper coach means ZC will have to actually invest in the game. They don't want to do that.

They just want a yes man who will not bother them and they'll be allowed to get on with their nonsense.

It sounds like Langer got blindsided by the senior players. I wonder what that was all about?
I read his book (I've read a lot of autobiographies), he's an interesting guy, clearly old school tough. That would go down like a fat kid on a seesaw here.

Rajput is with us probably until the end of days, or at least until a local coach realises he can help us lose equally convincingly and gets a shot. Losing should be done as cheaply as possible. Rajput costs 8k, they should be able to get that down to 5.

Rajput tweeting happy birthdays and congratulatory and birthday messages to all things Indian possibly means he's fishing.
What he could possibly arrange is to Skype coach Zim in his free time if he gets another gig. Zim could probably retain his services for a grand a month.
