Some of the crowd is hilarious. It’s like there is a competition ongoing for who can look the most stereotypically English
Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
Take a bow Mr Rew, thats one of the best innings I've ever seen. That's serious pressure he sucked up there.

Even this no 11 looks like he can hold a bat. Sales needs to do something magic here to make some runs and keep strike. Another 20 runs might make a huge difference.
Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
Why would he take a single off the first ball?
Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
Might be wrong but I think Sales must keep strike and play some shots. Don't see them lasting 5

Eeish. Saw that coming.

All these highlights reels of previous WC's show these u19's bowling at 140 plus, this year the speed gun is saying 130-135 for the quickest guys? Something wrong here.

All these top sides have 3-6 guys that have played FC or list A and are contracted or academy players, and in high quality environments. How on earth do you compete with that?
All some of these guys have to do is just a bit of fine tuning and they're capable of playing international cricket. And the fine tuning is mostly mental stuff.
It's fascinating and depressing at the same time.
