Nowdays associates are playing more games then Zimbabwe
Actually yes, because of WCL Division 2, team like Oman, UAE, Scotland, Nepal etc are getting good exposure and a lot of games.
What happens is that these team who are playing a lot against each other carry a good chance of upsetting teams like Zimbabwe who end up being rusty and deprived of cricket for such long periods.
The only good thing I can say is that they are atleast playing domestics regularly.

Zim playing wrong format in domestic should have saved the money used in this unwanted 4 day domestic tournament. They should play the format which has got future for them i,e the 50 overs & T20s.
There's also talks ongoing for away tours to both South Africa and West Indies in 2022.
Mentioned this a couple of months ago, and I now hear some fixtures with SA are going to be announced relatively soon, in order to fill the massive gap we have between now and June.
Would they risk a full strength side against Namibia?
The trick is to pretend we are still excellent. Only way to keep that ruse going is 2 games a year with weakened sides.
