Nepal announced strong squad for Zimbabwe series.

Yeah Sandeep L to captain. I am really looking forward to this series, far more than the South Africa tour.

If it’s their full strength squad then I think we will really struggle here too. But maybe not as much as not as visibly as the SA series.
I honestly think the selectors have purposely protected Marumani, Madande, Evans, Jongwe and Nyauchi by putting them here, and are purposely throwing some of the useless players under the bus in the SA series.
It should make the Namibia selection easier and justify not picking people like Richmond, DT and even Larry without upsetting them.

What will be the ideal playing eleven?

I really hope this is true. It just seems ridiculous that Nyauchi is not in that team, I still can’t get my head around it.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 22, 2022 6:48 amIf it’s their full strength squad then I think we will really struggle here too. Any reason why none of U19 players are included? There were few players who were impressive in the last U19 world cup...are they busy with academics?
If not in playing 11, atleast as reserves they could have had some exposure.

Re: Zimbabwe "A" Squad to Tour Nepal
Education could be a reason but we also need to remember this is an ‘a’ team not a development team. None of the u19s are ready to play for the second team and it would be unfair on those players who are in good form and deserve a chance of proving themselves in the ‘a’ team.karthicks10 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 22, 2022 8:50 amAny reason why none of U19 players are included? Saying that I’m still not happy with the squads

I'd definitely have a couple of the better u19's in the A squad. Welch is already a better player than a few of them.
But yeah some of the u19 squad are still in their last year of school, including Welch I think.

https://www.facebook.com/FordhousesCC/p ... 9915824099 Innocent Kaia arrived (and played) in the UK for his club stint last weekend. So is he abandoning that to come on this Nepal tour?
Re: Zimbabwe "A" Squad to Tour Nepal
Maunze played for his club last weekend to and pretty sure that Roy Kia is in Denmark to.
