Jongwe is an extremely mediocre bowler IMO. I doubt he bowls much quicker than 130 clicks and I think Tiripano is just as threatening a seam option as Jongwe. The only justification for having a Jongwe type bowler in the side is if he is a handy batter, which at the moment he is not.

You are right. He just has a decent slower ball but that's something that can be worked on with the others. Evans can bat too. I just don't like when we play Blessing, Ngarava and Chatara because they can't bat at all. 3 tailenders is a long tail for a team on our level against better opposition.

Lol Jongwe is ten times the bowler 2022 Tiripano is. Have you been smoking some of Luke’s good stuff?!

Having said that Nyauchi is moving ahead and Evans isn’t far behind.

Sending 37 year old, semi-retired, Cephas on an A tour is genuinely hilarious. I laughed very hard upon reading this
Ya I don't see the value in this. Firstly the forecast says rain and more rain so that's a long way to go not to play.
Secondly A sides are to take a look at players that may one day make the step up. There are a couple of prospects that have been overlooked
I still think zhuwao has a role to play in the t20 qualifiers he can absolutely smash below par bowling attack not giving them any chance of recovery. Zhuwao and marumani on a day can be a very good opening pair

What a lovely 1 week holiday Cephas is getting  a few long hops gets his 2 wickets. Sky a few balls, get dropped twice, hit 2 sixes and gets to 30 odd runs. Add some daily allowance and nice views  Chamu must be kicking himself in Harare.

Yes Evans looks like a far better bowler than Jongwe. It's a tough one. We have maybe 6 or 7 bowling options (Blessing, Ngarava, Chivanga, Evans, Chatara, Wellington, Jongwe). We provably only have space for 5.
Surely Wes counts too

Suicidal run from young Campbell there. Was looking forward to watching him play. What a shame. Hopefully Madande can hold his nerve. This is really poor. I'm still backing Evans and Jongwe but we should never be 5 down. Lazy cricket

Didn't count the "all rounders" in Wes, Burl,Raza and Williams but they definitely all count.

Fair enough. Good thing about these guys is that everyone is capable of playing at 2 roles
