Fun fact : we all saying zimbabwe's best suited format is ODI and T20 is their weakened format. But considering ranking we way above in t20 ranking .

Rashid Khan bowls 85 plus and gets dip like that! Can't be easy.
Still gives me a twitch knowing that they're using Burl as a goalie, not to win, but to try and add 20-50 runs onto the total to turn the massacre into a mere slaughter. It's about the most negative thing I've ever seen.
When he comes in he's with one last recognised half batsman and then he's propping up the seamers.
It's a f£*&ing joke!!!

I don't know if it's always been like this but one thing I have noticed this year is that in every series our guys keep getting worse as it progresses. Nepal, SA A , Namibia and now Afghanistan.

They are probably fuming that Hami organised so many games to expose how bad we are

I keep saying that- a full schedule is not in ZC's interests. This is the start of big hidings.
We've stagnated and maybe gotten a bit worse because of our domestic standard and lack of cricket. Some games jammed in recently is not enough time to make a difference- ZC don't understand how cricket works. They think some games and a few net practices can convert a guy from Gwanda into a Tendulkar, they are truly clueless. Everyone else is steadily improving. Without Williams and Taylor we are pretty fucked.
The only defence is that the toss was critical and these bowlers today I think would have troubled most teams, they've been unbelievable. Even a good team would have had to take some chances and play some shots and try and put them off the beautiful lines and lengths they've been bowling.

It would be interesting to find out how many matches have been played at Harare Sports Club in winter and how many times the team that batted first won. In Afghanistan's defence they did win batting first too.

We've had 3 new players only in a very long time- Myers, Shumba and Madhevere. They were top u19 players, had a decent early start and immediately people think they're world class with immediate effect. Men's international cricket is next level stuff, it's not easy.
We need at least a dozen of those young guys in a strong domestic and club set up and maybe just maybe 2 will emerge. ZC puts 3 and expects all 3 to be superstarlets. If only cricket was that easy
Nobody but nobody is emerging from the rest. Take poison on that.

And again our best two from this last u19 are nowhere- both need exposure to franchise cricket. Get Bennett back here!!! They could easily end up being better than these guys...or worse, but they have potential and you have to try because the remainder are not going to cut it. I don't know if that will ever sink in though.
The only guy that I've seen improve significantly after the age of 26/27 is actually Compton. The commentators were talking about him in the Surrey Sussex game last night. They basically concluded that he was a journeyman cricketer having a good season, which I thought was unfair. Watch out for that 16 year old Sussex leggie!! That kid is going to play for England before he's 20. Even the ECB have favorites- they keep plugging Pope who lights it up domestically and is struggling internationally.

We are seeing right now that these first 3 have not taken to it like ducks to water as everyone had hoped. This is a tough sport. Even people on this forum thought that Wes and Shumba would replace any seniors retiring very easily and that we'd need maybe one new guy only from every u19 squad. How wrong were u!!
Here's the proof against a proper bowling attack and we've still got 3 T20's to come to further show there's work to do.
I'm not saying they won't improve, but its going to be tough, and they will not cannot improve in this environment. Things need to change.

Ya they did win but there's no escaping the fact that it's effectively 2 different pitches
