I've heard a lot of good things regarding Matsi. He works tirelessly with the batters, almost Grant Flower levels and is very open to the batters that he never fulfilled his potential, but he knew his game. I'd keep him on. I know we aren't doing great on the pitch but at least we have a coach who's really putting his all into the backroom side of things.
He’s a nice guy and the players actually like him so that’s something. They all hate Rajput, it’s an open secret.

But you can’t be kept on in an important job at a time of major crisis just because you’re a nice bloke. The results have been poor and none of our batsmen have improved under his care, fact.

Well they all have to be persevered with, and a few of the most recent u19's as well, and hopefully one or two from the next. Our current guys mostly don't cut it, we need more depth and the lesser guys have to console themselves with club cricket only and hit the job market. That's our problem, these ZC guys think we need 6 good players in the whole country and the rest can fill in and not be too out of their depth.

Too easy for Afghanistan.

Zimbabwe seem dispirited.

They might need to talk Dane Schadendorf too when the finally start making those calls. Regis needs competition.

I was also thinking what would happen if we were to start afresh without the money. Without a doubt 90% of the people who are involved would walk away but I also realized all those guys playing County Cricket would be able to play for us and keep their contracts. We would probably be a better team but cricket would die in the country. Scratch that.. its already dead. If they have a secret plan and have talks with the players out there it could work. The problem is the ICC actually. I doubt they would allow us to even play as an associate
