Proven international quality player with an unbelievable pedigree. Doesn't like Asians who sponge off his family
Hardly a capital offence. He said sorry anyway.
A few more sorries and he's good to go.
I've just spent some time on social media, some interesting stuff out there today.
The one guy made a valid point-
Houghton becomes the fall guy and every coach before him. Much like Makoni pushing Masakadza into his spot and him holding God knows what position. They take a step back and say its not our fault if it doesn't work.
We need guys that have to put their cocks on a block. If it doesn't work they're also gone. From players to boardroom.
Get rid of the dead wood until the system starts to function
I see Sean Bell having a full go about Ratshit getting a promotion to technical director. I wonder if that post comes with a Vx 300 series?
Phil Simmonds still hasn't been paid, neither have quite a few others. This Ratshit has got some serious leverage somewhere.
Maybe we'll have a chinese kid playing for zimbabwe one day
No chance.
Sydney is about 30% Chinese and how many Chinese cricketers have we had?
Richard Chee quee. And he wouso have been one of those 3rd gen Chinese who integrated.
None have made The Rugby codes or AFL.
And as I mentioned, we have ‘Aussie’ Chinese too.
Largely they stick to their own and look down on others. There’s no chance they will have any sort of admiration for Zimbabwe. They would see the population as low IQ bushmen. Guarantee it.
Cricinfo profile of the 'James Bond' of cricket:
FULL NAME: Angus James Mackay
BORN: 13 June 1967, Harare
KNOWN AS: Gus Mackay
Haha I know Doggy. There are tens of thousands of them here and yet you never see them
they are a mysterious bunch but they are slowly taking over everything behind the scenes. Try and run a business as a white man and see the grief you get, meanwhile if your chinese everyone just turns a blind eye and thinks they are our saviours. Also they treat their black workers like shit. They are far more racist than any modern day white Zimbabwean.
Read into the problems Zambia have had. We aren’t far off it.
But they just stay within their companies and their gated communities and schools , and don’t really get involved in anything else. That’s why people accept them it’s the same with us. People like whites….until we try and be vocal about anything
There are so many people with vested interest in cricket in Zimbabwe that are willing to put their hand up and do the work. The problem is that these people don't want to invest in all that work whilst the current board remains.
Yeah, if that is the case, then there isn't much hope is it?
Also, ICC's inconsistent stances don't help either.

I don’t think people should get worked up about the technical director thing. He is going to have almost zero influence. Do people really think Dave is going to listen to and take any instructions from the Indian fraud - our most unsuccessful coach of all time?
It’s a non-job. He’ll be gone when his contract ends, whenever that is.
There’s as much chance of them selecting me to play for the national team as there is them selecting Ballance
Some of the younger, non outwardly racist white guys - maybe there is a chance. But Ballance? No way!
You're wrong. Watch.
Ballance? There’s just no way it’s happening surely?
. He’s taking time off at the moment for mental health. But the new Yorkshire coach has said he has a future at the club despite everything. And he’s under contract until the end of 2024 probably earning £100k+ Per year.
I think we may well see a couple of players return (whether that as ‘imports’ or voluntarily we will see) but Ballance is pie in the sky stuff I reckon
If Zimbabwe manage to qualify for T20 World Cup and especially the 50 over world Cup (this one is highly unlikely) then there is a good chance some players will start to show interest. 50 over WC in particular will attract a lot of talent I'm sure.
In any case, I think 2-3 players may well cone back if given good incentives and honestly Zimbabwe don't need more than that, I mean we are not looking at revamping the entire side and it won't happen either.
