He has a point, he doesn't have to be racist about it though.
Some of these people may be 4th generation Zimbabwean, but they have a strong cultural connection to the land, which is something that is part of their homes
Fair enough, maybe not the best language/way to put it Googly...
But imagine a load of white Zimbos turning up at sports club in England shirts and singing god save the queen though?! We'd have both our legs instantly broken by either a policeman or literally any bystander. Quite rightly, too.
Again I don't really mind them supporting India today but I wish they showed some support or literally any ounce of interest in the Chevrons the rest of the time.
Anyway it sounds like Evans and Ngarava are doing the business?!?! Awesome!

I've been to many cricket games where the person living there is supporting the visiting team and not a single cop has done that. Let's not exaggerate.
I agree. It would be nice to have them on board all the time. This is a question for ZC. How do we engage with all these groups that are here. There are untapped markets we could be engaging with. I think how Sunrise and Universals were treated by ZC has left a sour taste in many people mouths
No, Googly has a point. I wouldn't mind these guys supporting India today/this week, as long as they came out and supported Zim and cricket in general the rest of the year, but they don't. Some of these Indian families have been here 100 years - plenty of them can't even speak good Hindi - but they are out there waving Indian flags. And then they'll totally disappear for the next five years until next time we play India.
Anyway, how's it looking guys? Is the pitch as unplayable as we the scorecard says? Damn I wish I could watch this.

They should at least be made to pay some tax
I just find it highly aggravating that they live here and live well and support another team.
I merely suggested they should go back to their cultural home, if that's racist then so be it. Home Office issues work visas.

If you want to engage what remains of the Indian and Pakistani community then the only way is to select a quota player.

Agreed it's something ZC need to work on big time. There's quite a few Muslims playing in the Harare leagues but theres very little involvement from Indians at any level sadly.
To only have 1 professional Asian cricketer in the country is really damming.
I never understood why those two clubs were treated so badly (although pretty much every club was, I suppose) - the ZC hierarchy cartel should remember that it was the asian clubs who let the early black pioneer cricketers actually play with them.
