I know Australia want to make the most of the conditions, but considering all their talk has been about preparing for different scenarios and getting all kinds of match readiness, one would have thought they would bat first to test themselves.

It will be interesting to see our mindset. If we have learnt that rotating the strike is more important than trying to hit big shots.

Raza's failure is simply the law of averages. His form was surreal the past month...3 hundreds in 6 games is unbelievable even for a legend. Kohli, the king of hundreds has 40 from 300 odd games.
Raza was really worked over though. An old problem of his with shorter deliveries and a bit of extra bounce and pace.

Yeah, wouldn't say it was a law of averages. It was well worked. They obviously did their homework.

It was interesting in the post match conference when Finchy said about us going back to the analysts and doing our plans, then I heard Regis talk and I was like, "I doubt we have an analyst or even knows what he is saying"

I reckon this tour will only get tougher for Zimbabwe. I imagine Australia have now done some homework on our guys, going into the tour they probably only planned for Williams and Raza.

They've bought in some of their higher list commentators with Brendan Julian and Mark Waugh.
