Basically just means Pakistan is a must win right?

What we need is the Dutch game to be a rain out vs Pakistan and SA.
Rains an element here.

Rain is not a bad plot for us, It would have been a monumental effort to win against South Africa, their bowlers are world class.

If we can get wins from Bangladesh and Netherlands and get more rain we could make the semis

I think 1 point from RSA game is a huge plus for Zimbabwe, if that happens. In fact of all the teams, India included, I think this is the toughest game for Zimbabwe. So I will surely take a point from it if I get the chance.

Zimbabwe, I feel are capable of beating Netherlands and Bangladesh, of course it may or may not happen but that is Zim's only chance and then hope they upset either India or Pakistan... That Pak game especially will be big.

This will actually be a bad result for South Africa.

Let's not jump ahead of ourselves folks, I think we can see a few upsets in this group as well, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Netherlands are all capable of causing some big upsets.

So game plan is:
Take the 1 point today
Beat the two spastic teams
Hope other teams have rainouts against said two^
Hope India won ALL games (except us if avoidable).
Somehow limp to 6 or 7 points and hope NRR is kind to us?

There is definitely the potential for upset, but we shouldn't accept that this mean it will automatically be us. We are definitely capable of being the ones to be upset. We just need to take each game as it comes and focus on ourselves, not what the others are doing.

Surely if it hasn’t started by now the game is done.

5 overs per match?
That isn’t cricket.
