Yes, very heartening and one of our biggest assets to come out in a long-time batting-wise. Specially with what we have seen among Wes, Shumba, Marumani, Musakanda, etc.

Ya Cremer had a fantastic googly, his wrist action was so fast it was incredibly difficult to pick up. Maybe there was something in the height of his arm, but very little given away in his wrist action. I once watched him in the nets and it was a mystery. Yet he didn't bowl them very often, and would certainly only bring it out after having bowled many overs.

This is Zimbabwe`s second xi. No need to get overly anxious yet.

On the contrary, that our 2nd XI is so bad is every reason to be anxious. Our best players have 1 or 2 years left in them. Our 2nd XI is what we role out tomorrow once they are gone.

This is why every effort must be made to entice players back to their country of birth so that the player pool is greater whilst staying competitive until these guys at domestic level are ready to step up.

Your comment implies that the WI 2nd side are just as bad as our 2nd side or that our 1st XI are way better than any depth they have. WI are not amazing, but let's not kid ourselves, they have much stronger depth than we have and their 2nd XI would not be terrible against our 1st XI.
