He isn't as good as people want to believe.

Coming in and scoring 30 runs at number 8 when your team are 90-6 every week, is a different role to playing as a genuine batter and being expected to build a long innings and win games for your team with the bat.

Seems to me like he remains in the team because he's a nice fellow who people like.

Terrible way to select an international sports team.
Yeah not sure mate, he’s shown many times that he can hold a bat and defend stoutly. He’s also shown in ODI cricket before he can hit the ball a fair way too.

I dunno, I just think for him at his age now it’s worth a try. Spend a season batting at No.4 for the Goats and see how he goes. Can’t hurt
Yeah I am being a bit harsh. He isn't bad.

But it's a different job batting up the order. Also we have loads of people queuing up to bat 4 or 5. We need an opener, or a number 7 all rounder.

Also no matter where he is batting, theres alway a danger that he will end up bowling 20 overs of dross

Hope the rest of the day is washed off at least. Forecast looks quite bleak for the last 2 days. I hope Zimbabwe won't fold in 2 sessions again and take advantage of this poor weather.

Nyauchi with a couple wickets, that's great work! Chivanga deserves a wicket too.

That doesn't not look good. Kaia appears to be in some pain.

Does it rain more in Zimbabwe or Sydney?

Both seem to always rain when the cricket is on

This is the wettest year we’ve had for ages. Not usually this bad. Or good!! It’s good for the farms

If zimbabwe get a second innings can we try tiripano at 5.
Feel like with all our injuries and his experience he is best man for job there instead of shumba/Tsiga

I agree, no harm in giving him a chance up the order a bit, he deserves it after the first innings.
