Yeah he’s a decent talent. Went to a top school in SA at a young age so has never really been around in Zim. Think he’s about 22 now. Had a blistering club season for Old Hararians last season.
Awesome, I’ll keep an eye out for him, he looked very comfortable against the seamers, struggled a little against the left arm spinners but looked good overall.

Christopher Maiske also showing some clean hitting, IIRC he scored a hundred in India on that weird tour a while back.

The Eagles just got hit with 12 overs of legspin  come to think about it there is a good chance we could have 3 leg spinners in our limited overs teams in the next couple of years. Doesn't Kaia bowl some part time leg spin as well?

What are the odds of 3 leg spinners having an off day at the same time? Not a bad strategy in T20s

T20s are all about matchups, so I guess if you have the right matchups then yeah it could be advantageous. But also if you don’t have the right matchups it leaves you without many options.

Ultimately if Zimbabwe has Raza, Williams, Burl & Mavuta in the ODI side that’s a good blend throwing in 3 seam options.

Also if you have Wes back in form, we could have yet another spin option and a more traditional off spinner compared to Raza.

Noted that Ben Curran has been dropped by Rocks for the last couple of matches. Really not going well for him unfortunately.

Muzarabani's absence is disappointing. I understand he is fit again. I get that they are wanting to protect him but surely he needs some match practice some times?!

Ervine is also fit but not playing, disappointing.

Williams supposedly back fit again but as usual not playing domestic cricket. No real surprises there.

Seems like Taffy Mupariwa is keeping for Tuskers rather than Madande, seems very odd considering Clive is the limited overs keeper for Zim.
Madande was definitely keeping during the first few overs when I was watching the stream. Maybe he picked up an injury or something?

Great to see so many youngsters playing here. I've watched Frost play. He's a solid batter and should be considered a future prospect if he sticks around

Impressive hitting from Mountaineers to get to 209. Rocks going well though in reply with Ballance & Gubbins chasing.

After the youngsters impressing this morning, Zhuwao's and Shingi's big innings this afternoon proving the benefit of experience!!

No coincidence that the batters in all sides have got better as the week goes on. We should be playing at least three of these one week competitions a season.

We really need to forget about red ball domestic cricket for most of the season.
