On what planet do you pick Dzikiti and Falao over Murombo?

That’s just 1 of the many many endless problems I have with this selection but I’m going to go and calm down for a while

The bowling has been beefed up with ngarava nyauchi and chatara inclusions.
Happy with musikewa and zhuwayo inclusions. Not sure why ballance williams and ervine are being treated with kid gloves

Yeah all the bowlers bar Blessing are back. Innocent is back too.

The only guys missing are the white batsmen. I have no idea why they get a free pass, regardless of how good their records are. It makes no sense and you can see why some people get annoyed.

Gumbie in the T20 squad?!?! He’s done great in First Class and I’m a convert. But T20?!?!

He didn’t play a single game in the recent domestic T20 and literally wasn’t even selected in Mountaineers’ 16-man squad

Same for Makoni, who is in horrendous form generally. And in the T20 comp played two of the worst T20 innings I’ve seen for a long time. Horrendous selections.

I’m a fan of giving young bowlers like Dzikiti and Falao a go, but how they haven’t selected Murombo is very odd. Big injustice there.

I wonder who picks these teams? It almost makes you want to see them get clubbed like baby seals.
They always think they can hide a couple of average players in a team and hope to get away with it.
If these county sides put their top players forward (no reason why they wouldn't) its going to be bloody ugly.

Is there ever a post game review of the selections where perhaps they ask questions like -
Were you smoking crack cocaine when you picked these guys?
Can you name 4 fielding positions?
Can you honestly say you have a vague understanding of how these games work?
Anyway let's hope the T20 Gods deliver a surprise.

The Gumbie selection is interesting. Selectors might think he can open with Kaia long term which will allow them to play all of ervine ballance raza williams and Burl in top 7. Qualifying season as well so lot at stake. Still only 27 years old despite having a 10 year first class career. I have doubt over his big hitting credentials. We shall see

Glad to see Musikewa in the side alongside zhuwayo. Would have liked to see blessed Muzite in there. He can hit a ball.

Joylord Gumbie has played just 8 T20 matches in the past 7 years and averages 11.66 at a strike rate of 90.......and yet some 'selector' thinks hes a good pick
