Well he's in at 7 ahead of Jongwe? If he's got any sense he will play some shots without trying to hit it out the park and win the game, just get a score with a decent strike rate and hopefully inch up the order.

Ya not a bad innings at all. He's got two areas that he really doesnt like, back of a length at him from seam and just outside leg from spin, because he likes to stand on leg stump. He doesnt like sweeping and he's got a poor leg glance. There are very few people that hit 6's like Mayor. If he'd had the right coaching and been in the right environment as a younger guy he'd have been a special T20 player. These are things he can still work on of course.

When does Bennet come in? Bringing a youngster in to hit at the end is tough. This lad can play, he needs fair exposure up front, especially in a "practice" game like this.
He could potentially be really good, but if they bat him at 8 we may never know.
Exactly should be batting in top 5

Besides Bennett, Falao and Welch.. who else was decent from that u19 team? I remember they really disappointed last year at the world cup but I'm happy that at least a couple of them have been absorbed into the system somewhat.

They actually did ok for the complete lack of prep they had.
The spinner that got called for his action looked very good, but of course you're not allowed to bowl like that unless you're Murali.
Wasn't Dube in that team?
Bawa as well. Not sure what his plans are. I would think he's almost missed the boat now, almost like Myers. I'm suspecting they tried to make some changes to his set up and technique at Eastbourne that he couldn't get to grips with. I hated his set up and trigger.
The other Bennet- David, but cricket is not part of his plans. He's not as good as Brian though.

Jongwe is so frustrating as a batter. So much talent wasted

Quite a few of them were pretty good. They had zero prep and some shenanigans off the field that didn’t help.
Chirwa I think has slightly corrected his action and has played for rhinos I think? Dube and Falao both looked decent and then there was that really big guy who bowled - Zvinoera, but he’s at uni in Wales, doubt cricket is in his plan.
Same for Bawa - at uni I believe?
Mitchell was a prospect, look like he’s quit the game too? Saul and Wolhuter were okay, possibly underperformed. Don’t know where they are.

Falao, Dube, Chirwa, Bennett and Welch Jr all in the system though is a pretty good return.

Marumani and mpofu were going like a dream until marumani plays one shot too many.
These guys know little about working the singles. Play s big shot then get off strike. Bowler will work you out otherwise

Some nice cameos from mpofu Marumani and Mumba but needed someone to go on. Criminal to also lose 3.3 overs because you cant bat out the innings, They could have won this with sensible batting

Except they have to deal with the Durham batting line up.
Lees and Bedingham are absolute gun batsmen, and there's a few others. When Bedingham gets going he's unbelievable.
