Roy Kaia and Gumbie have both scored double centuries against a team of teenagers. I hope they are proud
C’mon mate, any Zimbo scoring a double ton on foreign conditions like India is a good achievement.

Not sure exactly about the quality they’re up against, but considering Gumbie & Kaia have never really toured overseas I think it’s good to see them doing well.

They have been full time professional cricketers for 10 years and have played international cricket, and they are up against literal school children.

It is highly embarrassing

Are they full time pros? I doubt either of Kaia or Gumbie have ever held a national contract, and we always hear about how little the domestic guys get paid. So I doubt they are in fact full time cricketers.

School children? Is this confirmed or is this just a guess?

What would have been embarrassing is if they went there and struggled, they’ve scored some runs in foreign conditions albeit against low grade opposition presumably but still, you can look at the negatives or the positives.

Yes they are full time professional cricketers.

The team they are playing against range from 16 to 20 year old amateurs.

So domestic cricketers earn enough money so they don’t have to work? That’s news to me, all I hear about is how little they’re old etc.

Anyways, feel embarrassed if you like.

Gumbie doesn’t have a job outside of cricket, regardless of how much he does or doesn’t get paid. He is a professional cricketer. He has a contract with Mountaineers and has for almost 10 years.

Roy even more so and he is usually found in the U.K. or most recently Denmark as an overseas pro during our off season and has played as an overseas pro in Australia too.

Shouldn’t be celebrating double hundreds against school kids when you are literally a Test cricketer.

It’s a joke that they are on the tour, and even more so that they are bullying kids and celebrating it like an achievement

Agree, this is absurd to have test cricketers and those with over a decade of FC track record to be playing against up and coming kids and scoring heavily against them. It has no benefit to anyone ultimately, in the larger scheme of things.
