Thinking about the replacement on short notice. I really want to have Regis Chakabva back in the squad.
Word on the street is he might be playing the Pakistan A series.

Can't be serious , Regis is definitely not the answer. Give Campbell or Bennett an opportunity

With sz, don't get the Regis hate. He would never drop some of catches that Madande did and is a very solid batsman compared to Marumani.

This is a very important competition and as a short term recall can't see anything wrong with it.

Yes his career average of 22 in odi cricket will be crucial

Madande is clearly the best option as keeper hands down

Well, Jonty has (very clumsily) said twice in this thread that it is drug related.

Jonty does have connections being an ex ZC employee.

So it looks like Garry has failed a drug test, or is about too get into a drug related scandal.

Didnt he have an Ice problem at Yorkshire? Or did I imagine that? It popped up during the Rafiq shit.
I don't know whether people are ignorant or too blind to see   . Im giving another hint other players who retired in the past 24 months Zim Cricket issued farewell statements wishing them well. Now Gazza has retired ZC has been quiet and never said anything, only the PCA issued a statement. If this doesn't raise suspicion i don't know.

Anyways i will drop the bombshell soon be patient!

Done nothing extra ordinary that our current local players have done all averaging 20s surely won’t be missed coz never had him anyways.
Nothing extra ordinary, but did you watch any of our recent cricket?

Century on test debut for us. 2 half centuries in the ODIs. We've got players who've gone years without so much as passing 30.
Who are those players are they playing?

Ya I agree, Madande has done well and the last thing we need is another 37 year old tbh. Also he’s been playing sub-district cricket in Australia so not even the highest level.

Sounds like he is definitely making a reappearance this winter though. I’ve always been a fan and his century against Bangladesh last year was fabulous. But it feels like we should move on now
Unpopular opinion that 'sub district' cricket in Australia is competitive than First Class or List A in Zimbabwe. That's why ZC didnt even bother forcing Gazza to play any matches before being selected in the national team, it wasnt worth it :D :D :D :D :D

It varies by league, but generally I'd disagree.
