Wellington on to bowl, need a proper Wellington spell of 10 overs for like 35-40 runs.

Yeah, you have to feel that even if NEP manage to get 270 - which is still a LOOOONG way away - Williams and Raza would chase that down easy.

It does look flat. I don't think anything under 300 is safe here. There have been a lot of high scoring games in Harare of late.
Still very early days but over the next few years it will be interesting to see who becomes the keeper between Madande and Gumbie. In my opinion there isn't much between them with the gloves.

Don't think any other country has the amount of fans singing songs during matches!
Are they popular songs in Zimbabwe? Seems almost everyone knows the lyrics...do they sing the same songs at games or are they different every time?

I sense with the way cricket is going, the thing we're really going to need in the coming years is a genuine allrounder in the 2008-ish Chigumbura mould. A 25-ish average batsman and a 45-ish average fast medium bowler.
It's nice that we have lots of spin options but another seam option who can make the team on their batting would be bloody useful right now. Maybe Evans can focus on his batting...

In Australia it's not because it's on Foxtel.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Is Gumbie's recent significant improvement with the bat a result of him no longer keeping wicket though?TapsC2 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 7:56 amIt does look flat. I don't think anything under 300 is safe here. There have been a lot of high scoring games in Harare of late.

Williams
heart in the mouth every time he’s diving to stop the ball, praying he hasn’t injured himself!

Could you VPN from another country? I think someone said earlier Bangladesh has it on Youtube?
