BAC had games streamed/broadcast last year in the T20 Quals I think? Historic place and can be a lovely place. Last time I was there it was really very run down unfortunately but I assume they’ve spruced it up for this week.

Taka hosting games of such importance is certainly significant - surely the first time anything there has been broadcast or properly streamed. I believe they’ve relaid the square? I don’t know if they’ve significantly improved the players facilities? It’s hard to imagine E.g. the West Indies having to use the rather primitive facilities there!!!

Oman on the brink of upsetting the Irish.

Oman I think will definitely make it to the next round. I think they were the 2nd best team in league two behind Scotland IIRC.

2nd best in league two makes them 7th best in this tournament on paper…… plus Nepal’s blistering 2023 form. They’ve got a very very old side so plenty of experience though.

Either way it is absolutely hilarious that they’ve beat Ireland

This is a shocking result indeed. Huge setback for Ireland and a massive boost for Oman.

Yup. This tournament has heartbreak written all over it. I see every team besides Sri Lanka having a shocker at least once

The fact that they nearly chased down 360 tells me Oman are a serious unit

Congrats, Oman! Associates are stronger than ever. The gap between them and full member nations is narrowing.
