Bowling........What The Hell Happened ??!!
Re: Bowling........What The Hell Happened ??!!
The future is bright no doubt Sloan, i just think Meth & Chatara should have been given at least a game against NZ 'A', Thats how we develop by youngsters by seeing how far they are from the real deal. A Brent kind of player is Mpariwa but he seems like he is even far from Zim 'A'.

Whta happened to Mupariwa? I never remember him looking nearly as bad as our current pace attack.

Re: Bowling........What The Hell Happened ??!!
I think the thing with Mupariwa was that he lacked pace. I don't think i ever saw him bowl above 73mph, and he didn't exactly move the ball either way. Having said that he was the quickest Zimbabwean Bowler to get to 50 international ODI wickets, so that is saying something.
However I think selecting Mupariwa is a backward step as he's not a serious pace option for the future, and in the modern ODI game, having a lack of pace and lack of movement is criminal.
There's guys like (and i'll say his name again) keegan Meth, Tinasche Panyangara and a couple of others who can fulfil the role he played between 2004/05-07.

I wouldn't mind a lack of pace if it meant not going for 8 runs an over. Still once Meth is in the team all our bowling problems will be solved.
