Irelands losses are a major boost for us. If we can beat the Windies it would put us in great stead for the Super Six. In saying that, we just need to focus on our game.

Ireland could do an Afghanistan

Possibly, but people forget the tie between Scotland & Zimbabwe last time also helped Afghanistan get through. I'd say the chances of a team going into the Super 6s with zero points and qualifying would be low.

But as you said, beating the Windies is the most important result for Zimbabwe.

Oman proving to be the surprise packet of the tournament so far, although I am not surprised as I predicted they'd upset a team or two which they have.

Looking at Group B, unless the Irish can beat both SL & UAE, and do so with a greater NRR, the 3 teams to get out of that group are already settled with Scotland & Oman joining SL.

Equations are quite simple lads. Like I said at the beginning of the qualifiers. Win all your group games and carry 4 points to the next stage. Realistically a big win should do there. I would fancy our chances against scotland and Oman unless we do another uae.

Do we give Nepal any chance of knocking off the Windies???

That would be huge for Zimbabwe's chances of qualifying and would also secure Nepal a spot in the Super 6s you would think.

USA v Holland in the other match, a must win game for USA, and you'd think the Dutch wouldn't want to drop this game either.

No way. WI will thrash Nepal. Zimbabwe just need to pull it off against them on Saturday. Let's not bank on any favors.

It will be really sad if either SL or WI miss out. I despise the 10-team World Cup. One of crickets worst ever decisions

Nepal looking a real team. We possibly did underestimate them in the first game.

Westindies two down but they don't need to worry their batting starts after being two down . Lost early wickets in all the games including warmups till now
