Saw someone make a good point. The associates are used to these kind of tournaments - high pressure, every match counts, lots of context. Various qualifying tournaments every year, the world league 2, the old world cricket league divisions etc. so teams like Scotland are so prepared for tournaments like this.

Whereas the big boys like the Windies spend most of their time playing meaningless bilaterals that really don’t matter. So ultimately when they end up in a tournament like this and can’t cope

Never looked at it that way. The gap between associates has closed dramatically. I mean the Scottish bowlers look so so so much more penetrative than the Irish. Greaves is an excellent ODI leg spinner, Watt is very economical and savvy with his variations and then Sole is rapid while Sharif is quick enough and swings it. They've looked highly impressive in this tournament

Batting first in Byo seems to be very difficult. Perhaps this goes to show just how good someone like Gumbie is playing. We really have to bowl first against Sri Lanka.

It's only difficult if the bowlers bowl good lines and length, that is the key and what the Scots and Dutch have done brilliantly. Very little extras as well

At least if SL had lost yesterday then also Zimbabwe could have got through by winning tomorrow. This Scotland win, if it happens, is very bad for us.

Wow the Windies continue to implode, even when we think they couldn’t get worse they do!

Yeah Scotland winning isn’t great for us, need the Dutch to knock them off that’s for sure.

Real poetic significance of Scotland potentially beating the Windies today and being in with a shot of qualification.

If you remember 2018 and that absolutely horrifically inept umpire (no DRS) which ruined Scotland's chances and saw WI through to the world cup, which they didn't deserve.

Scotland are such a good side. Their bowlers are really making that ball talk.

In a way Zimbabwe have got all to play for game against Scotland now, because they are our only competition left. SL will be through anyways. So tomorrow's game, has become less significant.

Unless we are looking at SL losing to WI as well but atm no one seems to be losing to the WI.

WI have been so miserable in this tournament that a win over them by an associate no longer looks like an upset.
