Fazal reminds me of Brian Vitori

His load up and release are quite different. He's a shorter quick (no more than 5'10") and has a good vertical leap before release. The ZIM seamers all tend to stay almost completely on the ground - part of the reason why they all bowl slower than they should/could. Elton, Ngarava, Vitori, and I think Madziva too have no vertical component to their bowling action. Its always caught my eye as odd and a technical flaw.

Curran AND Woakes in these sort of conditions is a highly embarrassing team selection. Where's Moeen? England look a shadow of their 2019 selves. Shows how much of an incredible leader Morgan was.

That's right, Moeen ahead of either Woakes Or Sam was a no brainer.... You don't win in India without spin. Aussies did the same mistake by going in only with Zampa (with Maxwell as the other spinner) and now England making the same mistake.

Ya you're right. They all slide through the crease. Curran does it and he's ex-Zimbo. I don't think they're taught it though. If you see the size of some of the Zim cricketers they should be 10-20kph faster than they are. There are some serious athletes amongst them.
Musekiwa is a specimen of note and a tremendous athlete, he should be able to bowl rockets.
It was more Fazal's bustling action. I've just found a clip of Vitori and there isn't much resemblance at all

For the betterment of future world cups, this is massive and is adding the evidence we need lesser sides in the tournament overall. Well played to the women haters

Well they shouldn't get full member status/funding at the very least, seeing as it is an absolute clear written-requirement of full member status and funding that you must meet certain provisions for women's and girls cricket. It is a fact that Scotland and the Netherlands currently overall both meet more of the full membership criteria than the Afghans and yet get 1% of Afghanistan's funding.

Curran bowls at the pace you'd expect him to...he's tiny. Or maybe he just looks tiny next to whatever 6'5" English seamers are in their squad. Fazal looks exactly the same height and build as Curran and he can touch 140, but averages mid 130s a yard quicker than Curran who's average is 130 and tops out at 135.
