Cunningham Ncube keeping wicket for Eagles.
Into his 15th season as a professional and still averaging 12 with the bat.

Apparently the best option in all of Mashonaland?
It's sad but its the truth, he is the only guy that knows how to keep, and is better with the gloves than most in the country.

Masunda might be able to hold a bat but he is a part time keeper at best and that is why they went back to Cunningham.

We have very limited stocks for wicket Keepers

Tuskers have 3 keepers in their XI today. And Rhinos have an overseas keeper currently running drinks into the field as 12th man.

Not sure if this is correct but it looks like Simon Mugava is playing for Rhinos. It’s his first match for over 10 years…
Last seen claiming political asylum in the UK
If he had any sense then he'd be claiming political asylum to get out of the UK

According to Companies House there is a Simon Mugava born Zimbabwe November 1990 who was a director of Coco Fox Group Ltd (dissolved November 2020) and Sky Mineral Resources and Trading PVT Ltd which is under an active proposal to strike off, let's hope his cricketing skills are better than his business acumen

Who are the 3? Madande is the only one I see who can wear a pair of gloves and we all know Madande needs work

Rhinos only brought that keeper in because they had nobody else whilst mavayo was away. This is exactly what the Eagles should have done.

The Mountaineers have a few in Moor, Magodo, Gumbie and wasn't Schadendorf a keeper?

Rocks have Tsiga and Mutumbami.

The only person that would potentially move out of those players is Magodo but he is getting games for the mountaineers so why would he?

Unfortunately the Eagles will have to persist with Cunnigham, unless a young guy comes through or they go offshore.

The Rhinos with their star player might just win it all. Kaitano, Prince, Naqvi, Curran, Musakanda, Burl, Mayavo, Mumba, Mavuta. Their clashes with the Eagles will be interesting if all the national team players are there
