I think Maru will go as the backup keeper and they will pick K-long over Kaia based on current form and quality of opposition.

I think they need to push Craig to number 4. To come in after the powerplay and build form over 7 to 12. He can rotate the strike easily. I think his struggles uptop are because the field is in. Williams is more likely to smack it around with the field up. I would move him up to number 3.

Madande is the weird 1 for me because he isn't a number 7 but Raza and Burl keep playing themselves ahead of him. I would have him at 5 and Raza at 6 but I think senority is in play here.

Blessing needs to sort his life, he’s always injured. Evans he’s complete dog poo and been living on easy street for a looonnnggggg time thinking he has it made after that heroic final over in the Pakistan game at the last World Cup.


Course Williams will turn up 5 minutes before the toss with his A game in his kit bag. He’s the main man in all this.

I don't think you can put Madande ahead of Raza. What happens if a few overs go by and Raza comes in too late?
Raza and probably Craig need to float and come in as the situation demands it.

The one trick that has been missed and its probably too late in the day, but Burl as an opener. He rotates ok and is a good player, hits a long ball. He was always down the order to save us from embarrassment as opposed to win it for us because we are short of batters. NW potentially is the extra batter that can allow them to shuffle the batting order a bit.
A fast start is surely a better option than the standard last second save by Raza? He's not going to do it every time.

Ervine playing for the Eagles, they have dropped Chamu he is probably being rested or has a slight niggle.

Interestingly they are giving Masunda another chance with the gloves over cunnigham. If thats his I'm route then fair play but he needs a lot of work with the gloves.
