He’s doing well but we don’t even know if he’s in the top 11 of all time.
The problem is the new Zimbabwe team only plays associates now.
Remember, Craig Wishart pumped almost a world record when he played Namibia 20 years ago.
We don’t know how much they would dominate.
Someone like Grant Flower for example would probably ton up every game against the associates.
We can’t tell.
IMO we can only truly judge them against top 7 teams.

Regardless of opposition you could argue he has done more for Zim cricket than anyone. Without him we’d be toast.

10 man of the match awards for Zim this calendar year, is insane! ICC team of the year last year also.

I’m also not sure any Zim cricketer has ever got to his level of celebrity domestically as well.


If he does this for another 1-2 years I think he easily finishes as our greatest player of all time,

Anyone else notice how Ed Rainsford managed to sneak back into commentating a Zim match at home. I had long suspected they had bad blood after he turned down that board post during those suspension days. Then from there I think he would only be commentating on away games or ICC events when it came to Zim games. I can't be the only one who noticed this.

Yep I noticed. I can’t remember the last time he commentated at home but i think it’s been several years at least.
