I have a soft spot for Regis Chakabva. I've never seen him bat (or maybe I saw an over or two in the MTN series, can't remember too well) but by all reports he will be an absolute gun in seasons to come.
I like all the guys to be honest, but Ray Price is my favourite of the lot- I can't really explain why, but he is my hero. It has quite a lot to do with the story behind his early life because you'd think someone who had such bad coordination problems as he did wouldn't make it in any kind of sport, let alone cricket. I have also met him and he is a very nice guy.

I havn't heard his life story, please elaborate...
Well he was born 3 months prematurely, then caught meningitis as a baby. He was given a 1 in 4 chance of survival at one point and was left totally deaf, which was not realised until he went to nursery school. He then had a operation to correct his hearing, but this totally destroyed his coordination- he couldn't walk, catch etc for a long time afterwards. Apparently he is still partially deaf. Yet despite all that he became a test match cricketer, and a good one too.
Well, I had heard a bit of that story about Ray Price, but not in this detail. Thanks for sharing.
My favorite all-time Zimbabwean Cricketer has always been Heath Streak, with Andy Flower and Guy Whittall coming very close. In the current crop of players, it surely is Sean Williams.
this is my favourite team :
sibanda
masakadza
taylor
williams
taibu
blignaut: but it's a dream or coventry
chigumbura
cremer
