I'm guessing the team sheets are a closely guarded secret?
Will there be a livestream for the selectors or will they just look at the scorecards?
Will we see the pole and dagga dancers become makeshift pompom girls.
Will leading run scorer and wicket taker get a lap dance?

If a bowler gets 17 off 6 at the back end will he open the batting in the T20's?
So many questions...
Think it will be livestreamed (or attempted to be live-streamed!!). I'm sure that I saw a notice of an upcoming live event on Facebook.

The secrecy over squad selections until the morning of the event is a constant annoyance.

Are they a secret to the players also, or just the fans?

Well they must have whatsapped the players because they must be traveling today. No plane laid on as Taps suggested , there's either a bus, your own transport or hitch hike.
It's been bucketing with rain all day here and in Bulawayo.
Hopefully Singo hasn't used the ground cover for a tent for a wedding function or dancing girl interviews.

I really can’t understand why they are playing these in Bulawayo. They spend the whole Logan cup in Harare and not letting franchises host their own home games, but then suddenly they decide to go to Bulawayo.

If anything it would be better the other way around, let Tuskers host games at Queens but then when they are having this kind of selection camp/series, surely do it in Harare where the best facilities are?

It does spin a bit more down there so maybe they are thinking it’s better prep for Sri Lanka than Harare.

But then that would mean somebody in the organisation has a cricketing brain and common sense, which I doubt.

Surely this is the reason why!

Perhaps they looked at the weather forecasts and thought there would be less rain there?
Again this is giving folk some credit for forward planning that has rarely been èxhibited.

In order to progress we require people who consider themselves custodians of our game and not sole proprietors.

The press release should read-
In light of recent injuries and temporary suspension of x and x we find ourselves in the unenviable position of having to have a look at a few players for a last minute selection.
We apologise for having inconvenienced the other 18 players who are there solely to make up numbers and they have been provided with free Christmas turkey hampers for the inconvenience.
The allegations levelled against us by Bulawayo City Council that we are running a brothel is completely without foundation and the picture of the two scantily clad ladies was in fact two workers stripped to the waist due to the unseasonal heat, attempting to wedge a tent pole into the ground adjacent to the pitch for the upcoming pointless games. They have been prosecuted for their inappropriate attire.
We'd like to wish all players and fans a very merry Xmas and Prosperous New Year.
