Although he still plays first class cricket up there on the sunshine coast first grade and still be county level- he was a county player a few yrs back.
Perhaps not anymore though. Although im sure he would be a test player by zim standard.

Re: Zim Players in England
He was considered one of the weakest county overseas signings of all time though... Not really taking many wickets for Essex, before getting injured and going home...ZIMDOGGY wrote:That's right!ZIMDOGGY wrote:Yeah i know, aydee wrote: Brant hasn't got a game for Queensland for years...

Re: Zim Players in England
In the current Zim team who could qualify to play in county cricket, most Irish players play county thats why they have confidence facing big teams.
Taylor
Williams
Taibu
Masakadza
Counties are cutting costs and looking for cheap players, i reckon a couple will get a deal

Re: Zim Players in England
Price would be good enough (at least for one days, I have reservations about tests )
Taylor would be a shoo in, as would taibu when you consider keeping abilities and see Jim as a nber 7 not a 4.
Craig ervine, cremer and Williams are on the cusp of being that standard too,
Although if I had to guess cremer would be the most in demand out of those I have mentioned, purely because necks young and a leggie, that's a friggin rare commodity that zim have..... That will be in huge demand.
He needs the money too to pay his debts to the hair dressers before they start calling in the Italians in the suits to collect the debts.....
He needs all his fingers attached
