I wonder if those same kretins will claim that the black players are deliberately sabotaging Matsi's career?

Matsi is going to have to give Faraz a token game somewhere.

Burl has just watched a guy guarantee him some bench time.

For the first time in maybe a decade I got that feeling of a change of guard. Well played Bennet and Campbell. Well played.

They have to drop the 2 openers from today and bring back Burl and Williams then we give it a real try for the next game. That might mean they sneak in Faraz for Jongwe because there is always 1 strange selection

17 off 30 opening the innings?!?!?! That is one of the worst T20 innings I think I have ever seen.

Would never play again for most countries
Most countries wouldn't play a guy who averages 15 from 41 limited over games either, but here we are

No one expects joylord to score a 30 ball 50 but the bare minimum in a t20 should be a run a ball or a few balls adrift of that.

I feel for Gumbie because he is good enough to not throw his wicket away so he will just keeping getting bogged down until he literally gives it away. If they had brains trust there they would realise that maybe he can’t open in this format. He can definitely find gaps after the power play and anchor. Playing Craig and Gumbie at the same time is overkill

Much happier to see Bennett at 5 than at 3. Still not sure Campbell is good enough but he certainly adds a bit of energy and belief.

Good deck though, Bangladesh are going to walk this.

Commentators were suggesting one or both of Bennett/ Campbell needs to open next game. More realistically, probably get Ervine and Raza to open. then Williams, Madande, Bennett, Campbell and Burl

I don't like Ngarava's new haircut. He's lost his power.

It's a long road ahead indeed. Just got to hang on to whatever positives we can, and there aren't many as of now.

Will have to Qualify for the 2026 T20 WC as well but that's OK, at least the boys will get some international games to play as part of the Qualifier.
