The only only silver lining of this tournament for zimbabwe is they get a few more matches than they would have ordinarily by virtue of going through qualifiers. Coach can loom at different combinations and new players.
Really hope Musekiwa tees off. I really rate him in short format.
On paper this should be a cakewalk and will be good to see our chevrons get game time. OK i understand how far we have fallen and it is embarrassing to play these games in the first place. However it's game time and chance to look at combinations and newer players.
Just imagine these teams have barely played more than a handful of games shocking for Zim to be playing in these qualifiers even our U19 side(the ladies) should be steaming past these guys.

CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'
A couple of wins over Lesotho and Eswatini! Seychelles shouldn't be underestimated. I imagine in 15-20 years we will be fighting out a 3-2 T20 series victory over them and breathing a sigh of relief that we avoid our nemesis Burkina Faso in the next qualifying round.
