With the way Bennett always gives himself room he has to surely be susceptible to one that skids on, stays low or an arm ball. I haven't seen the chink yet, he's got fast hands. He's pretty consistent.
He's surely batted himself into a spot.
Burl is looking iffy.

Why is Musekiwa coming in ahead of Madande?

Can't see Burl making the ODI squad, his international career is in a bit of trouble.

No Ervine or Williams today. One has to assume they're in and don't need the practice.

No faith in Clive and their batting is thin

Ya Ervine and Williams will be in. Would be crazy not to be.

Guys will always fail and he'll get another shot. I'm sure they'd love to replace him but he's a good player.
There's always going to be musical chairs here.
He bowls good leggies on his day which makes him quite hard to replace and he hits a long ball, which most of our guys don't. It's a good thing he's under pressure, he's really capable of going up a level. Look at how few domestic games he's played. If he has to go back to the grindstone he'll improve, he's good.

Playing today would be risky for a guy like Williams who is totally injury prone

They should retire Bennett and bring Madande. Madande and Musekiwa are the two guys fighting for spots.

He doesn’t bowl often enough or bat high enough for me. He’s a senior player now and should be looking to become something or other at this stage of his career rather than just coasting along as a bits and pieces player. We’re pretty stacked for choices for the kind of player he is.

If Campbell has this fatal technical flaw that Mutendira claims Salamander says he has, then the million dollar question is- why is he in the trials??

It's another reason why ZC try and say as little as possible, because the bullshit always catches up
